"Strannik" Ranch
"Strannik" Ranch is located in the village of Sokolitsa, which is situated at the foot of the majestic Stara Planina and is 5 km away from the town of Karlovo. This is a unique place where you can enjoy nature, horses, and the company of hospitable hosts. If you wish, you can have a glass of fresh warm mare's milk or mature Kumis.
Our history
The establishment of the horse farm took place in 2020 when, with over 30 years of experience working with horses, we decided to open our doors to everyone who wishes to get acquainted with our world of horses.
We are a family horse farm with rich experience in various spheres of horse breeding, which is precisely why we call ourselves a Horse Ranch. Apart from the traditional use of horses – riding, we can also offer you products produced by our horses and goods made in our yard.

Tayna
Тhe assistant-instructor at the base - the dog Tayna. She accompanies every horse riding lesson and entertains the riders during walks.
Mascarad
Half-breed, Arabian Shagya - a spirited horse, long-time competitor and winner in horse races. It can only be ridden by instructors.
Gabriel
Purebred Arabian horse - spirited. Participant in races. It is ridden only by instructors.
Alanya
Half-blood Eastern Bulgarian mare - calm, obedient, and has a good nature. It is ridden only by instructors and advanced riders.
Chayka
A calm mare, ridden by children and beginners. Participates in group hikes.
Saltan
A male horse, obedient. It is ridden only by advanced riders and participates in group hikes.
Sapphire
Calm and obedient male horse, ridden by children and beginners. Participates in group hikes.
Kazbeck
Calm male horse, ridden by adult beginners and advanced riders. Participates in group hikes.
Legend
Calm mare, ridden by children and adults, beginners and advanced riders. Participates in group hikes.
